God & Country?
This page was not my favorite. I am no big fan of Ronald REGAN. I felt like he was a good actor but pretty much just said what was put in his mouth. I do agree there is a need for Christian to stand up for their faith and not be bullied, in government, in the work place or where ever. Just didn't like the high handedness of this page. Thanks anyway.

Well I had a Different Thought!
Sam… I've got to disagree. Reagan was a very dedicated and sincere president. History records that the Iron curtain came down on his watch … largely because of his convictions. As the post shows he had faith and conviction. Something I think we could use a bit more of these days. I thought it was a great presentation.

Re: God & Country?
Sam I thought Reagan was good honest man. My only complaint on this page is it seems mainly for USA. Many of us from other country that are member of this web site might feel like it's far away and not so affect them. That's all I was thinking. I Hope that's OK.

Re: God & Country?
SAM INITIALLY WHEN REAGAN became President I had my doubts, but I would have to say that he stood firm in a perilous world very unsure and very open as to future direction. I was in Shanghai when he spoke at Jiao Tung University in 1986 and he spent about 10 minutes speaking about the importance of faith in God. He really witnessed in that speech despite the unpopularity and danger of it. Sure won my heart with that. God Bless Him!
Fernando Countries come and go and the world constantly changes, but the fundamentals of life never do. Blessed is that Nation Whose God Is The Lord... PS. 33:12 holds true for all generations and COUNTRIES! Those videos might have been made in and about America, but they are true for all of us no matter where or when we live. Like the stars at night and the sun by day those rules and fundamental principles are constant and affect us all.
Thank you both for writing in and for all those that had commented and joined in this discussion! It is ongoing and will probably be a hot topic long after we are all dust and gone!

I agree… it is a very important time to stand up for our faith.

Re: God & Country?
I thought it was very timely Peter. The US is about to make some major choices that can greatly affect the future. Thanks for putting that out!

Re: God & Country?
I'm sticking to what I said in my first post. I will agree though that the coming election in November is critical and Christians should not be worried to say their feelings.
I'm not too keen on Romney as I think he is just a life long politician trying to reach the top. Neither am I impressed with President Obama. He now is going to church every sunday, but it seems questionable to me as he never did for the last three years. His faith seems political an calculated.
They both bother me.
Bidan as a back up president seems like the guy in the TV series 24 that became president and caused so many problems. Ryan seems like a far more sincere man and better back up. Sure makes me pray. Hope this post didn't ruffle too many feathers.
