The true follower of Christ will not ask, "If I embrace this truth, what will it cost me?" Rather he will say, "This is truth. God help me to walk in it, let come what may!"

Overwhelmed?

Post by Peter on Tue Jan 12, 2010 6:17 am

With All of Life's Challenges
Do You Sometimes Feel
Overwhelmed?
Here's a Great Poem

I Walked a Mile with Laughter and
She Chattered All the Way
But Never a Thing Learned I from Her
For All She Had to Say

I walked a Mile With Sorrow and
Never a Word Said She
But Oh the Things I Learned that Day
That Sorrow Walked With Me

Folks you've got a friend who will never let you sink! He Knows, He Loves, He cares and just when you think that your finished for... that's when He will grab you and lift you back up.

You might have the feeling that No One Understands... No One Loves You ... No One Cares. Maybe you have been hurt and betrayed by seemingly Dear Friends and people you trust. Maybe you have been injured or lost someone dear to you. Possibly in this tough economy you've lost your job or your faith to live and fight on. Maybe it seems there is not one person you can turn to... But there is one... and that one is Jesus! He would like nothing more than to sit down with you and have a good talk and tell you how much he understands and cares. He'd look over across a table... after you told him of your situation and say... "I understand"... "when I was there they did the same to me and even worse." It says in the Bible that He is aquainted with all your griefs... so don't give up!
You can Close Your Eyes and Open Your Heart and Ask Him to Come Into Your Life and Be Your Friend and to Help You and He Will. He Won't Let You Down.

Thanks Peter... that was a great post! Very basic, but it seems like we all sometimes loose site of what's really important... get our eyes off the Lord and well... there we go. Excellent post.

The Greatest Talent in Life is to Be Able to Smile When You Feel Overwhelmed... To Be Able to Laugh When You Feel Like Crying! To Be Able to Heave that Huge Sigh Of Relief and Know That God is In Control No Matter What Happens... No MAtter What the Outcome! To Do Everything You Can Do, But Then Be Able To Trust God For All the Rest... All That You Cannot Do!

Thanks for fixing that Peter! Didn't know about the size thing and I was wondering why the picture wouldn't show. Shocked
