Problems in the Catholic Church

Post by Maria Guzman on Wed Apr 07, 2010 8:47 am

Recently there has been a lot of media attention on problems within the Catholic Church regarding Pedophile Priest etc. I was a bit taken back by it and wondered if anyone had any ideas or thoughts.

Hey Maria... not to worry. Your pastor their is a good, honest man and he's inspired you to live for the Lord. Just stick with him. In any organization there are going to be problems and problem people and you have to search out the good and let the garbage gophers go.

Bashing on any religion is not new...
Take it with a grain of salt.

The one thing they do have in the Catholic church is a requirement for their clergy to not get married, which leads to a number of problems like those you hear of in the news. If there are criminal offences then those guilty should get what they deserve, but you shouldn't allow it to take away your faith from the Lord and the millions of sincere and dedicated folks who love the Lord and are trying to do their best.

There Are Millions and Millions of Sincere Dedicated Christians Reaching Out To Touch The World With The Love of God - Think On Them!

Here in Japan I drive a Toyota. Great car... but now in the news there is a big to-do about how bad Toyota's are and it's just not that way. A few problems yes, but all cars have a few problems and you need to see the big picture. Long lasting, always dependable, great service... if you see the big picture it helps you to keep things in perspective and not get fooled by all the commotion made over a few rotten apples.

Keep Your Eyes on the Lord and Not On Men! The scumbags of Life eventually get what they deserve, You keep going for God!
