Prayer Request

Post by Chris on Mon Mar 15, 2010 5:37 am

I was wondering if it would be ok to start a Topic where folks could make a prayer request. If that works then I'd like to start by asking for prayer for a friend of mine... Dust, who is a Missionary overseas and was just in a car accident. He had his collar bone and both legs broken and, plus suffered some internal injuries. He has a wife and 5 kids and they live on a minimal budget so I know this is huge for them. Please Pray God sees them through to victory, full recovery and a brighter day. Thanks so much!

Hi Chris and Mr Knaughty, I have just found the Prayer Request Topic, and I have been thinking about Dust. How is he? I will say a prayer for him, and for you, Mr Knaughty, and for all of us who are particularly aware of the difficulties that come when we don't run with the crowd. Let us pray that you will find brothers and sisters in the Faith, and that you will be able to support each other. May God send his Holy Spirit to comfort you - and He will, just keep your heart open, no matter how painful it is sometimes. May the peace of God, which passes all understanding, keep your hearts and minds through Jesus Christ, our Lord.

God Bless You Julika and thank you for your prayers. They make a huge difference. Dust has healed up pretty well, but he sure can still use a boost from above. The whole situation was pretty devastating for he and his little family, but they are fighting on. So often we want to just jump in and fix the problem, but instead all we can do is pray ... and often that is all that is needed and what will really bring the ultimate victory and solution. Haven't heard from Mr Knaughty since that one post. Trust he is in God's hands!

We just recieved a letter from Connie in Autrailia which I will attach below. Connie's Brother desparately needs your prayers and so does Connie she has to make a very long and arduous journey back to America. Please pray folks. The effectual Fervent Prayers of a righteous man availeth much. Thank you all.
Hello Peter,

Soooo good to hear from you! I’m so happy to hear that things are progressing in Japan. God is using what the enemy meant for evil for good. How wonderful to know that the Japanese people are coming to know the Lord through this disaster. And, you and your family are such amazing examples of God’s goodness.

Well, I just received some sad news this morning….my brother, Peter (another Peter), was rushed to the hospital this morning with a brain aneurysm. He’s not expected to come out of the coma but we know that our God is a God of miracles and Byron and I are believing that Peter will receive a healing miracle. He will be a testimony to my family and through this healing my family members will be open to hear about Jesus and be saved. Please pray for Peter’s recovery and for our family’s salvation.

I’ll be leaving for the States in the next couple of days and I’m expecting to see Peter sitting up in his bed. Surprised)

Thank you for being such a blessing to us. You are precious and thank you for being our dear friends.

Blessings,

Byron and Connie
